Strategy for the development of tourism in the Municipality of Krushevo 

Krushevo is the highest city in the Republic of North Macedonia, located in the western part of the country, in the bosom of the Bushevka Mountain and the Pelagonija Valley. Krushevo is considered a typical mountain town, which has an average altitude of 1350 meters, so it is considered the highest town on the Balkan Peninsula. With its location and natural beauties, Krushevo has great potential for development as a Balkan center for adrenaline sports and tourism. 

With it’s high mountains, beautiful nature and hospitable hosts, Krushevo is an ideal city for the development of sports tourism. For the winter season the potential is in the ski resort and winter sports, while in the summer, the location is perfect for paragliding, mountain climbing, mountain biking and various types of adrenaline sports. Target Communications has developed a 5-year plan to turn Krushevo into a sports adrenaline rush, including an action plan, specific strategic goals and a strategic marketing plan.
